Chris approached me after seeing some of my personal work and he wanted me to make something similar for his grooming brand, Owl & Co. The illustrations he saw were Ottawa Senators-themed and he wanted to incorporate some of that style into this illustration. We chatted back and forth and settled on an owl skull in a crested Roman helmet, and some barbershop imagery.
